Good Morning!! I am a business owner, and in these tough times of rising cost on everything, I sometimes have to make tough choices. A few months ago a product that I have carried for a few years went up drastically.... Tabasco a little bottle that sets on each table. Some of my guest put it on eggs....some put it on everything. I never realized how passionate people are about their red sauce until I changed to another brand. Oh mylanta, have I had an earfull. I have been called out, loudly, in front of a whole dining room, I have been stopped in the hallway and the kitchen, all not very happy with the new choice of hot sauce. I quickly conceded, and brought in the favored, cherished hot sauce. They let me see their passion. We are passionate people by nature. I'm so passionate about watching my B play ball, I am passionate about the CIG. What are your passions? As christians our number 1 passion should be making followers of Jesus Christ. In the scheme of life, the brand of hot sauce or B's baseball does'nt matter. I want my passion to be placed on my heavenly father... everything else is blessings from him. Happy Tuesday yall, its amazing how a little bottle of Tabasco can teach me so much, think about where your passions are, you may learn a thing or two, I know I am:) May you day be full!!

AuthorI opened the Cast Iron Grill in October 2007. Lots of changes have happened in the last 5 1/2 years. The CIG started with 55 seats in an office building located at 18th and K. After five years, we were bursting at the seams with now 167 seats, and 24 wonderful co-workers working on top of eachother to make it happen. 2012 the Lord chose a different journey for the CIG. We relocated the CIG and opened our doors on January 2nd, 2013, just four blocks away from the old location! It has changed my world completely! All of these stories are the happenings of the people and the joy and celebration that make the CIG what it is. Archives
