Good Morning!! This year started with changes at the CIG, and I have been short handed on the floor since January. This always brings great stress and anxiety, not all of my dining rooms can be open, because I dont have enough girls to take care of our amazing guest. What I have learned? I have 5 strong.... These girls are amazing. They have pulled together, worked together, stressed together, have put up with my stress and they do it with a smile and an absolute servers heart. They are the hardest working girls, I have ever had the opportunity to know. They are the reason I get to live my dream everyday. They are single moms working to provide for their children, they make their job look easy... they take heart to know people by their names, they learn what our guest drink and their favorite pies. For most...this is the hardest job they have ever had, but as they say? Our amazing guest make it worth it. Alysha, Crimson, Vanessa, Lacey & Jessica, Thank you for your amazing job that yall do, Im so thankful and cherish you all. Happy Friday yall.... through changes, the Lord has brought a new found appreciation for the amazing poeple in my life. Today, tell those around you you are thankful for them, I will as soon as I see all of my wonderful girls this morning:)

AuthorI opened the Cast Iron Grill in October 2007. Lots of changes have happened in the last 5 1/2 years. The CIG started with 55 seats in an office building located at 18th and K. After five years, we were bursting at the seams with now 167 seats, and 24 wonderful co-workers working on top of eachother to make it happen. 2012 the Lord chose a different journey for the CIG. We relocated the CIG and opened our doors on January 2nd, 2013, just four blocks away from the old location! It has changed my world completely! All of these stories are the happenings of the people and the joy and celebration that make the CIG what it is. Archives
