Good Morning!! She was the magic puppy that would appear from underneath the fence for a precious 3 year old boy....he is now 19. The year was 1996. This precious part chow part german shephard puppy was born next door, she would dig halfway under the fence so Taylor would pull her the rest of the way.She was full of playfullness and loyalty and would protect Taylor and B at all cost, I have never experience loyalty like this. She would become our young family's best friend. She chewed up a hot tub, dug up many beautiful flowers and dug holes that we thought surely reached to china. She had been hit by a car and survived in her life 5 surgeries. Her favorite past time jumping 6 foot fences to play with the school kids at the elementery school. She was our Stoli girl, the best loving dog a family could ask for. Shelby and I made the decision 16 years ago to keep her and on Saturday we made the decision to stop her pain. My precious boys will feel a huge loss and sadness over their best friend.....but the priceless memories we will always have. We were truly blessed to be able to have Stoli as apart of our family.....We loved her, cared for her and were the recepients of her unconditional love. To be able to experience her twilight of life its something I will never forget. They steal your heart and its hard to let go. Happy Monday yall..... to be able to experience the love of an animal, ahhh what a blessing from our heavenly father. I pray yall have the awesome opportunity to share your life with an amazing pet.

AuthorI opened the Cast Iron Grill in October 2007. Lots of changes have happened in the last 5 1/2 years. The CIG started with 55 seats in an office building located at 18th and K. After five years, we were bursting at the seams with now 167 seats, and 24 wonderful co-workers working on top of eachother to make it happen. 2012 the Lord chose a different journey for the CIG. We relocated the CIG and opened our doors on January 2nd, 2013, just four blocks away from the old location! It has changed my world completely! All of these stories are the happenings of the people and the joy and celebration that make the CIG what it is. Archives
